Drone Film Festival Rules & Categories
Main Rules:
- – 80% of the project must be shot with a camera on the drone itself. *
- – Maximum length: 90 Seconds ( 1min 30 sec) **
- – Must be an edited final video(no raw uncut content)
- – Resolution: HD to 4K.
- – Video Mpeg4 /H264 Format
- – Photo JPEG
- – Acquired content must be from legal drone flight locations or with ATC clearance.
* FIDA drone soccer events or freestyle do to have any limitations on the amount of drone acquired footage used in the segment.
** The Documentary Category can be up to 2 minutes long. Documentary category requires minimum of 50% Aerial Drone Content.
Winners:
- Each Main Category will have a Best in Category Award.
- Each Sub Category will have a Best in Sub Category Award.
- The Entire Festival will have Best In Festival Award.
- Over all the entire festival will have 41 Winners.
Main Categories FIDA
Mission:
To show FIDA 40 Drone Soccer balls in Competition or In Freestyle Maneuvers
- 90 Seconds or Less
- No percentage limitations on ground footage or aerial footage.
Main Category: Student
Must be currently enrolled in a College or High School.
Must be 16 years old
- 60 Seconds or Less
- 80% of Video must be shot by camera on drone.
- Must be an edited final video
